Screen Printing and Embroidery -
What's the Difference?

Screen printing is a process that uses inks applied directly to an item. It is called screen printing because a customized mesh screen is created for each color in the design and then the corresponding ink is pushed through onto the item. Once combined, the colors create a finished logo.

Embroidery is a process where colored thread is stitched into your custom product. With embroidery, you can create a more professional look. Logos with fine detail, small text or shading may need to be altered slightly in order to embroider them. Screen printing prices are determined by the number of colors used in the design, while embroidery pricing is determined by the number of stitches required for the logo being embroidered.
